I DOOOOO

I realize that I have done a post on almost all things vintage that I love EXCEPT jewelry. So to kick it off, I am going to do a post about antique engagement rings, my favorite kind of jewelry.

I honestly will have to restrain myself from posting every one of the thousands (literally thousands) of pictures of antique engagement rings that I have on my computer.

So for now, I will give thee this:

GET. A. LOAD. OF. THIS. My heart literally stopped when I laid eyes upon this Edwardian engagement ring. I usually don't like just the circular diamond, but with the triangle sapphires, it just works for me.

Gorgeous, gorgeous filigree and just the perfect height and width.

Perfecto! More rings to come. I'm just choosing the best of the best...which is hard because I love them alllll :)

  2. That is beautiful! I am looking into "engagement" type rings. When my husband and I got married we didn't really have a lot of money for an expensive ring so I have a beautiful band, but I still want a ring. where did you find this?

  3. I love antique engagement rings! I have one from an engagement that didn't work out (oops haha) but the ring is so pretty, it's hard to part with. Antique rings are also great because they aren't as expensive and you don't have to feel guilty about the despicable diamond trade. Nice find!

QueenVII, I just search all over the internet. Literally just google "Antique Engagement Rings" and you will be searching for days haha. Not sure if there are any good antique jewelry stores in Sac...there's got to be, though.

NikkNaks, hahaha Hey, I would do the same thing. I wouldn't get rid of this ring if this was my engagement ring and things fell through. But yes! Antique diamonds are the way to go! Thanks :)

  5. Amazing ring, the one of diamond and sapphires...It should work for me as well. I wonder if it´s too expensive.
