Broken Bells

James Mercer and Danger Mouse. Do I really need to say anything else? Broken Bells' self titled album was really my anthem for this year. It's one of those albums that you just can't stop listening to and it really never gets old. It's classic Shins with a pinch of Danger Mouse zest.

The High Road is my favorite track off the album. Like typical Mercer lyrics, I had a hell of a time analyzing them and trying to decipher the song's meaning. I thought I had until I saw the music video. Regardless of what it means, it is an amazing song.
