Vampire Weekend

Vampire Weekend, the spectacularly quirky college band from New York, succeeded in tickling my ears with their titillating refrains yet again with "Contra." Vampire Weekend makes all things preppy, quirky and potentially nerdy super cool!! Their brilliantly clever lyrics never cease to make me smile. Even their spunky, rills and thrills of melodies seem to be whispering quips to you as they dance through the air.

"Cousins" is my favorite track (SUCH a fun music video, too). My other favorites are "Horchata", "Diplomat's Son", "White Sky", "Holiday" and "Giving Up The Gun" (also a killer music vid.).
